A free CPD certified online course for professionals working across health, social care, housing, education, legal services and the voluntary sector
This course has been developed by Lotus Justice and Support Centre CIC to equip professionals with the knowledge, skills and confidence to identify, respond to and support individuals experiencing domestic violence and abuse.
Domestic abuse affects 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men in their lifetime. Professionals in frontline and support roles are uniquely positioned to make a life-changing difference, but only when equipped with the right tools.
This course bridges knowledge gaps and promotes a trauma-informed, survivor-centred approach. It includes a dedicated section on working with the Romanian community in the UK, the third largest language group in England and Wales, who remain significantly underserved by mainstream domestic abuse services.
On completion, you will receive a CPD Certified certificate showing 2 to 3 CPD hours, valid for submission to your professional body.
